Thank you to our sponsors….. whose support makes the Singleton Art Prize the event that it is

Event Partners

Yancoal’s Mount Thorley Warkworth and Ashton sites have been long-term partners of the Singleton Art Prize, a relationship as our principal event partner for almost the last 20 years.
It is this long-term support that has enabled the event to establish itself as one of Australia’s premier regional art prizes.

This support includes awards for the Traditional and Watercolour sections, as well as the Overall and Acquisitive prizes.
Thank you Yancoal for your on-going support.

Singleton Council have been the other long-term principal event partner of the Singleton Art Prize, a relationship that extends back to the 1980’s. The Singleton Civic Centre has been the principal event venue for over thirty years. In recent years, this support has included space at the Art & Cultural Centre for our Artist Workshops. In addition to the venues, Singleton Council provides the event with promotional support.

Each year, the winning artwork of the acquisitive prize is gifted to the Singleton Collection, a collection of over 100 works held in trust for the enjoyment by the people of Singleton.
Singleton Council serve as the custodians of these artworks, which are displayed throughout the civic buildings.
Thank you Singleton Council for your on-going support.

Gold Sponsors

Glencore United Wambo Joint Venture returned in 2023 as a sponsor, as the Contemporary prize sponsor. The Contemporary section sees over a hundred entries each year and is second only to the Traditional section in numbers of entries annually.

MRM Solutions are a new sponsor, joining as we came out of the Covid interruption to sponsor the Pencil Pen and Ink section.

Hunter Valley Operations came on board in 2023 after a hiatus to sponsor the Still Life prize.
In addition to their financial support, a group of HVO apprentices aid our Rotarian volunteers on set up and pack up day. Our Rotarians love having the help and I’m sure the apprentices appreciate the Rotarian catering.

Westrac have taken on sponsorship of the Flowers and Miniature prizes, categories that are hotly contested every year.

Bailey Property and Livestock have also been a long-time supporter of the Art Prize, having sponsored the youth sections for many years. It is wonderful to have this support for our young artists as they grow and develop their talents.

Silver Sponsors

Singleton Optical (Kevin O’Brien Optometrist) has been a long-time sponsor of the event, sponsoring the Local prize, exclusively awarded to entrants from the Singleton LGA, as well as providing advertising support. Kevin is a much-appreciated member of the Singleton Art Prize family.

Taxico & Hunter Valley Wine and Food Tours have a long-standing relationship with the Art Prize, their sponsorship coming in many forms over the years. In recent times, this sponsorship has come in the form of operating a courier service for our Central Coast and Sydney based artists, taking great care to see their artworks delivered with the utmost care.

Bronze Sponsors

Incite Graphics have been part of the Art Prize family for over five years, taking the time to ensure our signage is on point.

Bowers Heavy Haulage relationship with the Art Prize goes back many years. Each year the frames, lighting and infrastructure required to put on the art prize is stored in a shipping container with Bowers transporting this container and its cargo from the storage point at Maison Dieu down to the Civic Centre and then back again at the end of the event. Without this support, there is no art prize.

Quest Singleton provide accommodation to our judge for the weekend, providing a home away from home while they are in Singleton.

Peter Dunn Real Estate has been a long-time catalogue sponsor and in 2024 has come on board to support the reinstatement of the People’s Choice prize.
We are grateful to Peter for supporting this fan-favourite prize.

A huge thank you to our catalogue sponsors, without whom you wouldn’t be reading such a professionally produced record of each year’s event.
